| Lexington Medical Center Auxiliary is accepting
applications for the Medhurst/Norton/Telfer Scholarships and the Ann
Bethea Scholarships for High School Seniors who reside in Lexington
County and plan to earn a Baccalaureate or Associate Degree in
Nursing.
The Ann Bethea Scholarships are in the amount of $1,000.00 each for
Associate Degree students and the Medhurst/Norton/Telfer Scholarships
are in the amount of $2,000.00 each for Baccalaureate degree students.
Applications are available at the Volunteer Office at Lexington
Medical Center, High School Guidance Offices, and Health Occupation
Teachers. Completed applications are due on March 15, 2008.
Lexington Medical Center Auxiliary is accepting applications for
the Continuing Education and Cook/Price Mature Student Scholarships.
Scholarships of $2,000.00 each will be awarded for students continuing
to pursue Baccalaureate Degrees in Nursing. Prior scholarship winners
are encouraged to apply. Cook/Price Scholarships of $1,000.00 each
will be awarded to mature nursing students in two year or four year
programs. To be eligible applicants must have been accepted into a
nursing program.
Applications are available from the Volunteer Office or on the web
site for Lexington Medical Center. The deadline for the applications
to be received I March 15, 2008.

PLEASE NOTE: Incomplete applications will be discarded. Late
applications cannot be accepted. If you are waiting for a letter of
acceptance from your college and cannot meet the deadline, contact the
Scholarship Chairperson for instructions. The Volunteer Office at
Lexington Medical Center will provide contact information.
