programs are designed to teach you the practical skills required to teach
classes, once you have completed the Fitness Instructor Training program.

2008 ATP Dates: July - September (Step, Fit over Fifty, Yoga)
October - December
(Low Impact, Pilates, Strength)
Class Descriptions:
- Low Impact ATP – Learn the basics of choreography and how to
teach a low impact class in a group fitness setting.
- Step ATP – Learn Step Reebok moves, terminology and how to
teach a step class in a group fitness setting.
- Sculpt ATP – Learn how to teach resistance training in a group
fitness setting.
- Strength ATP – Introduction on how to teach one on one
resistance training.
- Cycle ATP – Learn how to teach a group cycle class.
(4-week
session $100)
- Fit Over 50 ATP - Learn how to create and teach a safe and
effective exercise class for active older adults.
- Pilates ATP - Learn the fundamentals fo planning and teaching a
Pilates class (note: requires prior Pilates Certification)
- Yoga ATP - Learn how to plan a yoga class using the traditional
Hatha yoga poses (note: requires prior Yoga Certification)
Please note you must have completed a
Fitness Instructor Training program to
register for an ATP.
