National Primary Stroke Center Certification
This certification, awarded by DNV Healthcare, integrates the requirements of hospital accreditation with the Guidelines of the Brain Attack Coalition and Recommendations of the American Stroke Association. Medical professionals, who specialize in stroke care, work together to rapidly identify acute stroke patients, provide treatment and early rehabilitation.
Gold Plus Award for Stroke Care
The Gold Plus award is the highest honor bestowed from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines Program. It recognizes commitment and success in implementing excellent care for stroke patients.
Bariatric Center of Excellence and Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
The Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence® designation was created by the Surgical Review Corporation and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. This designation helps highlight providers who deliver excellent care. It has become a benchmark for government and private insurers making coverage decisions because of the rigorous and comprehensive guidelines required for centers to reach this prestigious level of recognition.
Gold Beacon Award – American Association of Critical-Care Nurses
Awarded by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses for outstanding patient care, outcomes and work environment. Only eleven hospitals in the nation have received a gold distinction for this award.
Summit Award for Outstanding Patient Satisfaction – Press Ganey
For the third year in a row, Lexington Medical Center has won the prestigious “Summit Award” from Press Ganey for sustaining excellence in quality of care and providing the best possible experience for patients and their families. To qualify for the Summit Award, a hospital must rank in the 95th percentile or above in patient satisfaction for a minimum of three consecutive years.
