Bio

A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Myatich received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and his degree in Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994.

His General Surgery residency was completed at the University Medical Center of Eastern Carolina/East Carolina University in June of 1999. Dr. Myatich’s focused dedication in his field is evident in the many presentations and articles that have resulted from his continuing education and research. Many awards and honors within the medical community recognize him as being at the forefront in establishing improved methods and techniques to address immunology factors as they develop in today’s population. Dr. Myatich currently has patents pending on innovative technology that further improves the scope of success in surgical arenas.

Board certified with the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Myatich is actively involved in his profession through extensive committee work. Within Lexington Medical Center, he has held the positions of Vice-Chair and Chair of the Division of General Surgery, and is currently the Chair of Peri-Operative Services and Cancer Liason to the American College of Surgeons.

He has his medical license in both South Carolina and North Carolina and is a member of the American Chemical Society, the North Carolina Medical Society, the South Carolina Medical Society, and has been an American College of Surgeons Fellow since 2002.
