Bio

After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Dr. Munro graduated with high honors with her medical degree from Ross University in New Brunswick Township, New Jersey. She then completed her residency in occupational and preventive medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, serving as chief resident. She also earned her master’s degree in public health there.

Dr. Munro is board certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine with additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support and basic life support. She is also a certified medical examiner through the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. Dr. Munro most recently served as medical director at Concentra Urgent Care in Orlando, Florida, providing comprehensive occupational health services and urgent care for patients, including injury care, pre-employment screenings, immunizations, worker’s compensation evaluation and treatment, and physicals. In addition to her clinical training, she has a doctorate degree in international relations from Florida State University in Tallahassee.
