Urgent Care

How is Urgent Care different from Emergency Care?

Urgent Care is different from Emergency Care if you need to consult a specialist or if you need to be admitted to the hospital in the case of a heart attack or other life threatening illness. At that point you would be moved to Emergency Care.

How is Urgent Care the same as Emergency Care?

Urgent Care has many of the same capabilities as Emergency Care such as X-rays and CT Scans. Urgent Care services range from broken bones and stitches to sore throats. You will receive the same excellent health care by LMC’s network of physicians.

Qualified Staff & Physicians

Our staff are highly qualified, including primary care physicians. Urgent Care also services specialty referrals. A direct link to our emergency care facility, and inpatient services, allow for an easier transfer when a higher level of care is needed.

Patients of our Urgent Care centers benefit from the knowledge, expertise and resources of the entire Lexington Medical Center network of care.
