Co-workers and patients become a second family.
Addy Lynn Griffin grew up in Lexington and knew she wanted to work at Lexington Medical Center even before she finished nursing school. “The community thinks of it as the best, and those positive feelings meant a lot to me.”
Eight years later it’s clear she made a great choice. “The other people on my unit are like family. They’ve been here for me through thick and thin,” Griffin says.
It’s a bond made stronger by their passion and willingness to help other people. “We love each other, and that shines through in the way we care for our patients.”
