Patients Come First

Although the best and newest technology is critical for the success of any treatment, equally important is the skill, experience and compassion of the people who provide care. Our vision of patient care holds the patient at the center of all discussions and decisions.

Collaborative treatment planning sets us apart.

Effective care starts with our multidisciplinary pre-treatment conferences. We host two Cancer Conferences each week. Surgeons, radiologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, pathologists and other key specialists gather together to:

  • review all diagnostic test results
  • consider the patient’s medical history and condition
  • make treatment recommendations based on nationally recognized standards of care

Collaborative treatment ensures that each patient is receiving the benefit of the best, most recent, evidence-based practice with the goal of optimal patient outcomes. Pre-treatment conferences provide patients with multiple second opinions at no additional charge. It is all part of our ongoing commitment to service and leadership in our community.

Collective Expertise

We also rely on the surgical skills and expertise of our urologists, ENT physicians, neurosurgeons and dermatologists when mapping out treatment plans for prostate, bladder and renal cancers, head and neck cancers, brain tumors, and skin cancers.

Members of Lexington Surgical Associates, Southern Surgical Associates and Riverside Surgical Associates collaborate with other key specialties to assure our patients’ best chance for recovery.
