The 15-Minute Heart Test That Could Save Your Life.

This exam enables your physician to determine precisely which coronary arteries are affected by calcified plaque. The HeartReach calcium scoring exam is a non-invasive test, performed on a multidetector CT scanner. It typically takes less than 15 minutes and requires no needles or contrast (dye) injection.

No Special Preparation Needed

You may "come as you are" as the test requires no special preparation. Standard EKG leads will be attached to your chest so that the CT scanner knows when to acquire information during the most favorable part of the heartbeat.

After your test is completed, it will be interpreted by a Radiologist from Lexington Radiology Associates. A report will be mailed to you as well as to your personal physician.

Blood Pressure Check & Cholesterol Screening is Included in the Exam

As an added benefit, the HeartReach exam includes a blood pressure check as well as a complete cholesterol screening at no extra charge. The cholesterol screening requires you to fast at least 12 hours prior to the blood draw.
