| The radiology department is proud to utilize PACS to
view and “read” the images taken during your test. Once the image has
been acquired it is then delivered to a workstation manned by a
radiologist. The radiologist will review the images and issue a
report. The radiologist is also able to add arrows to the images to
highlight points of interest. Another feature of the PACS system is it
allows your referring physician to access the image and the
radiologist’s report simultaneously on any computer in their office.
This gives your physician more information enabling him or her to make
amore accurate diagnosis. |
