Occupational Therapy
Lexington Medical Center's Occupational Therapy program uses
treatments, such as hand splint fabrication, exercise, and
training for daily activities, to improve function after injury or
disease, recommending adaptive equipment as needed. Such services

Speech Therapy
The speech therapy program helps improve a person's speech
clarity, comprehension, and safety with swallowing after a
neurological disorder, such as a stroke. Therapists evaluate each
patient to determine the proper range of therapies and also work
closely with the patient's family to help them understand the
process. The speech therapy program is available at Lexington
Medical Center's main campus. |
