West Columbia, S.C. – Lexington Medical Center is pleased to announce that Health Directions has moved to a new, 12,000 square foot location in West Columbia. Health Directions, the health and wellness component of Lexington Medical Center, is now located at 3239 Sunset Boulevard in West Columbia. That’s next door to the previous location. The new facility offers larger group fitness classrooms and locker rooms, improved cardio theater capabilities, more equipment and a more open, easily accessible floor plan.
As part of the new building’s Grand Opening Celebration, Health Directions will offer special events each week in January and every new guest will receive a 1-week free trial pass.
January 14 – 20th: Nutrition Week. Seminars will include Eat to Lose Weight with registered dietitian Laura Stepp and free food samples from Good Life Cafe on January 15th at 11:00 a.m. and January 17th at 5:30 p.m.
January 21 – 27th: Fitness Week. Events will include Cardio Fitness Challenge and Ask A Personal Trainer, a 15-minute Q&A with a Health Directions personal trainer.
January 28 – February 3rd: Stress Management Week. Attend Relaxation Training for Stress Management with John Leech, Lexington Medical Center Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager, on January 29th at 11:00 a.m.
Additionally, there will be Orientation from January 1 – 13 so that current and new members can familiarize themselves with the new facility and fitness equipment. Each person who tours the new facility will receive a free water bottle and enter a drawing for fitness prizes
