Cardiologist William W. Brabham, MD, Joins Lexington Medical Center

West Columbia, S.C. – Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome William W. Brabham, MD, into the hospital’s network of care. Dr. Brabham is a cardiologist who has joined Lexington Cardiology, a Lexington Medical Center physician practice.  The practice already includes Drs. S. Stanley Juk Jr., FACC; Joseph J. Lawton III, FACC, FSCAI; Michael C. Roberts, FACC; Richard E. Umbach, FACC; Robert M. Malanuk, FACC; R. Taylor Williams, FACC; Amy Rawl Epps, FACC; Stephen E. Van Horn Jr., FACC and William D. Brearley Jr., FACC.

As an electrophysiologist, he is a cardiologist who has additional education and training in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of cardiac arrhythmias, or abnormal heart rhythms. Before joining Lexington Medical Center and Lexington Cardiology, Dr. Brabham was an after-hours hospitalist at Kindred Hospital of Charleston in S.C. He is also a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association and the Heart Rhythm Society.

After graduating with distinction from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville with a bachelor’s degree in Physics, Dr. Brabham earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he also served as class valedictorian. He then completed an Internal Medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C. and achieved his Internal Medicine board certification.

Dr. Brabham culminated his education by achieving board certification in cardiovascular disease and completing a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at MUSC.

Lexington Cardiology offers a variety of cardiovascular services delivered with excellence and compassion.  Services include cardiac consultations and evaluations, echocardiograms, nuclear stress testing, vascular studies, pacemaker and defibrillator services, heart catheterizations, coronary stenting, coronary angioplasty, peripheral vascular intervention, Bi-V ICD/Pacemaker implantations, atrial fibrillation ablations and atrial septal defect closure.

Lexington Cardiology has three convenient locations
in West Columbia, Columbia and Lugoff to serve its patients. Office hours are Monday through Friday from
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
