Kristin Lorick, Overcoming Hodgkin's Lymphoma

A USC Student embarks on an unexpected, personal cancer study.

Kristin, an exercise science major at USC received a devastating Hodgkin’s Lymphoma diagnosis at age 20. "My doctor told me that I had cancer and I zoned out after that. I felt fine." Kristin began chemotherapy and radiation treatments. She lost her hair.

Today, she is cancer free and is tested regularly at Lexington Medical Cancer Center to make sure the cancer has not returned.

Kristin has a new outlook on life. "It opened my eyes to never take anything for granted." Inspired, Kristin has since completed a half marathon, raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
