Dr. Lopes graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a master’s degree in biomedical science from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. She then earned her medical degree from Central Michigan University College of Medicine in Mount Pleasant and completed her training with a urology residency at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona, serving as chief resident.
A member of the American Urological Association, Dr. Lopes has extensive experience diagnosing, treating and managing general urological conditions, including performing complex and routine surgical procedures. During her training, she also gained experience in all major urologic subspecialties, such as urologic oncology, endourology and robotics, male reconstructive urology, urogynecology, female pelvic reconstruction, neurourology and urodynamics.
