An honors graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Oehler earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus. While studying medicine, he also obtained a master’s degree in business administration from the OSU Fisher College of Business.
Dr. Oehler is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. During his residency, he volunteered at Epworth Children’s Home in Columbia as well as several free medical clinics in the Midlands, and he participated in a quality improvement project to increase hepatitis C screening and treatment rates. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, pediatrics and geriatrics.
Dr. Oehler proudly joins the highly skilled physicians and staff at Spring Valley Family Practice to provide patients of all ages with comprehensive care. In addition to well visits and same-day sick and urgent appointments, the practice offers in-office laboratory services, minor surgeries and imaging, including X-rays, venous and carotid Doppler, and echocardiograms.
