Dr. Kalra graduated with honors from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada, with a bachelor’s degree in cell biology, anatomy, histology and biology. He then earned his medical degree with high honors from the University of Medicine and Health Science in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa, where he also served as chief resident.
Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Kalra has additional certifications in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. He recently served as a locum hospitalist for several hospitals in Oregon, Iowa, Louisiana and Oklahoma, diagnosing and treating ill or injured patients, preparing strategies for medical care and maintaining infection control protocols. He also cared for patients with Unity Pointe Telehealth in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
