Bio

Dr. Van Dam graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Siena College in Loudonville, New York, and earned her medical degree from Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She then completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she also served as chief resident.

A member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Van Dam is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation with additional certification in electrodiagnostic medicine. She has more than 25 years of experience in nonsurgical orthopaedic care and electromyography services, as well conservative treatments before and after surgery.

Dr. Van Dam recently cared for patients at Palmetto Bone & Joint in Chapin, South Carolina, and has specific interest in outpatient musculoskeletal orthopaedic services, electrodiagnostic and preventive medicine, and orthopaedic joint and soft tissue injections. She joins the board-certified physicians, advanced practice providers and highly skilled staff at Lexington Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine to provide comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients of all ages in the Midlands.
