Dr. Childers graduated with honors from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and completed his medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Carolinas in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He then finished his training with an internal medicine residency at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Dr. Childers is certified by the American Osteopathic Association with extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases affecting adults. He recently cared for patients as an attending hospitalist physician at AnMed in Spartanburg, South Carolina, coordinating and managing inpatient care from admission to discharge.
