eClass Bundle: Your Special Delivery, Caring for Your Newborn and Understanding Breastfeeding

Includes:

All three eClasses.

Your Special Delivery eClass

What is it?

A class taught by certified childbirth educators covering:

  • Managing pregnancy discomfort
  • The labor and birth process
  • Medical procedures

Caring for Your Newborn eClass

What is it?

Expectant parents will learn the basics of caring for mother and baby after delivery.

Topics include:

  • Newborn characteristics
  • Bathing and feeding your newborn
  • What to expect as a new mother

Understanding Breastfeeding eClass

What is it?

A class covering the advantages of breastfeeding, for both you and your newborn.

Topics include:

  • What to expect at the hospital
  • Pumping and going back to work
  • Managing breastfeeding difficulties
  • Choosing a pediatrician

Super Sibling (Currently Not Available)

When?

Twice per month, usually Tuesday or Thursday 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Where?

Main Campus: East Tower, Lower Level, Classrooms 1 and 2

What is it?

Prepares young children ages 3 to 10 about what to expect when their new sibling arrives.

Children watch a short video, tour the nursery and learn how to hold a new baby using a doll.

Siblings at Birth (Currently Not Available)

What is it?

For children age 14 and younger who wish to be in the delivery room during the birth of their sibling.

Infant/Child CPR Class (Currently Not Available)

When?

Select Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 - 8 p.m.

Where?

Main Campus: East Tower, Lower Level, Classrooms 1 and 2

What is it?

Learn how to perform infant and child CPR and how to respond to choking.

Your instructor will also discuss related safety concerns for infants and children.

Safe Sitter (Currently Not Available)®

When?

Select days, 8:30a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Where?

Main Campus: East Tower, Lower Level, Classrooms 1 and 2

What is it?

Young teens will get hands-on practice with emergency skills for when they're home alone watching younger siblings or babysitting.

  • Infant/Child Choking Rescue
