Lexington Medical Center Irmo and Lexington Outpatient Surgery have received Press Ganey’s Summit Award 7 years in a row for consistently remaining in or above the 95th percentile. LMC Irmo Outpatient Surgery received The Beacon of Excellence Award (formerly the Summit Award) in 2013 and 2014. In addition, Irmo Outpatient Surgery received The Guardian of Excellence Award for the same time period for maintaining a 95th percentile for patient satisfaction in outpatient surgery for each reporting period for the previous year; LMC scored higher than 95% of 700 outpatient surgery facilities in the Press Ganey database.
