West Columbia, S.C.– Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome Jully A. F. Aguirre, MD and Jennifer B. Linfert, MD, FACOG to its network of care. They will both practice obstetrics and gynecology at Sandhills Women’s Care, a Lexington Medical Center physician practice.
Dr. Aguirre graduated cum laudefrom Queen’s University of Charlotte in North Carolinaand earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She went on to complete her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Greenville Health System University Medical Center in South Carolina.
Prior to joining the Lexington Medical Center Network of Care, Dr. Aguirre served as a resident physician and as chief of Educational Development for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Greenville Health System University Medical Center, which honored her as “Best Provider of Family-centered Maternity Care” in 2013. She also volunteered at the Greenville Health Clinic to provide gynecologic care to women in need.
A member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association, Dr. Aguirre speaks fluent Spanish and is most interested in Latina health care, high risk obstetrics and robotic surgery.
A Columbia native, Dr. Linfert graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina in Columbia before earning her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She went on to complete her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
Prior to joining the Lexington Medical Center Network of Care, Dr. Linfert worked in private practice, providing obstetrical and gynecological services from routine exams to minimally invasive procedures. AFellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she is board certified and a member of the American Medical Association, the Columbia Medical Society, the South Carolina Medical Association and the South Carolina Obstetrical and Gynecological Society.
