Lexington Medical Center Welcomes D. Perry Breazeale Jr., CPA as Chief Financial Officer

West Columbia, S.C. – Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome D. Perry Breazeale Jr., CPA as Chief Financial Officer at Lexington Medical Center. In this role, Mr. Breazeale will oversee the health district’s financial management and accounting operations.

A Lexington County native, Mr. Breazeale brings extensive experience in health care financial management to his new position. Before coming to Lexington Medical Center, he worked as the Corporate Director of Finance at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta. He has also worked as the Controller at a hospital system in Columbia, and as an auditor in the Midlands offices of two international accounting firms. Mr. Breazeale is a licensed certified public accountant.

Mr. Breazeale received a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of South Carolina. He has served on the board of directors for several organizations including the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia and the Palmetto chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He has been a member of Lexington Baptist Church for 30 years. 

Mr. Breazeale has been married to his wife Christine for 20 years. They have three children.
